I am a nurse midwife from New Hampshire. I live with my partner, David, and two cats, Bonnie and Clyde. I have been a nurse for over 30 years (hence Nightingale) and a midwife for 18. David is a pharmacist. As our careers wind down we dream of a small farm with alpaca and angora rabbits. I also hope to someday have a small fiber processing mill. We have an online store that carries handdyed yarns, spinning fibers, accessories and gifts. Please visit at My other interests include gardening, good food and wine and travelling.

So cool, sorry it has taken me so long to finally look for you. Love the pictures. As the weather gets colder I seem to knit more and more… is the farm coming along? how is the dying process going ?

Hope to hear from you soon
    Much love

Hello Cynthia, I’ve finally gone to your website and love some of the yarn/fiber that you offer for sale. (What a sweet idea the grapevine ball is.)

I especially love the Virginia sport; the color is Twilight Prairie. Is the “one available” still available? I’ll check back soon.

    Best regards,
    Ruthie Black
